Portee’s Barossa Valley winery tour takes you to one of Australia’s best known wine growing regions.  Settled in 1842 by English and German settlers, the latter who were escaping religious persecution, brought with them the skills, knowledge and hardworking lifestyle, making the Barossa what it is today.  Many of the Barossa wineries are world famous and awarded internationally. 

After discussion we visit 3 wineries,  as you may already have a favourite that you wish to visit, or be guided by our local knowledge. 

After tastings at 3 top wineries, we will then head for Portee, via  Keyneton, on the scenic route from the picturesque town of Angaston, to a typical outback pub, where Dave the landlord and his wife Sue make you more than welcome at their Sedan Hotel.  An Aussie outback town has many characters, you never know who you may meet, whilst enjoying Sue’s great Aussie pub fare with a cleansing ale.  Finally depart for Portee arriving late afternoon.    Price $165.00 per person.
