It was a great pleasure to know about Australian Station life, and to be able to do it in a very interesting environment – between the birds, the river, the wombats and many other diversities, we learned a lot. It will remain one of our favourite visits in a lot of traveling.

Being a guest here on Portee, will be a memory that will never leave me. This experience went way beyond hospitality! Thank you so much for this special time.

A Haven of tranquility in a dramatic setting! By day, the magic and majesty of the River; by night, wonderful food and wine, laughter in good company and, to follow, the infinite beauty of the night sky. Perfect! Thank you so much.

A beautiful place – great people, great food, fantastic birds, roos and wombats, sunshine – what more could you want ! We finally feel like we’ve had a taste of the “real” Australia. Wish we could stay for a year!

You have created, along with nature, a truly magical environment and this was one of the most spectacular stays I have enjoyed anywhere in all of my world travels.
